Working with Video Editor is quite simple and does not require any specific knowledge on video editing. Before you can begin editing your video, you need make the files available to Video Editor. This means, that you will need to import your video, audio and image files from your computer hard disk drive into the program. First click the Media Library button of the Menu Panes and then the Import button in the Files and Effects Area. The same can be done using the Import Media option of the File section of the Top Menu.

You can import Flash Video/ YouTube video files, AVCHD Video files, Mobile Video files, Windows Media Video files, QuickTime Video files, other popular video and audio files, as well as image file formats like *.jpg, *.bmp, *.png.
How to start working with Any Video Editor?

Step 2: Launch Any Video Editor and Import Media
Run Any Video Editor. Click the Import button within the Main Library pane to load the desired video files, audio files, or image files.
Select the necessary media files and click the Open button.

The selected files will be added to the Media Library into the appropriate category - Video, Audio or Image:

You can select one of the categories double-clicking it with the mouse. When selected, the category will show all the files of a certain selected type - video, image, audio - available in it. Here is an example of the selected video category:

Step 3: Add your video to the Timeline and Storybox area
To apply different transitions and effects to your video and image, you should place it to the Timeline area, first of all. So, select your video in the file area (enter the Video category if you are not in it) and without releasing the left mouse button drag it to the very first row of the Timeline and only after that release the button to drop the video there:

Now all the preliminary actions are done and you can proceed to add transitions, apply different effects, overlay video or image, mix audio, insert subtitles, add image watermark, and more!
